Post front, strong north wind and pretty dang cold until afternoon. Struggled to even get a bite the first couple hours throwing small weighted swimbaits and top water. Once the sun came out and we could see the mats, we went to punching the hydrilla. Not sure how many we caught but it was quite a few. All fish were buried under the hydrilla. We saw Clark Wendlant out there filming and it appeared he was doing the same thing. Typical Bastrop fish, nothing over 3 lbs but with all central lakes in bad shape, it was nice to get a bunch of bites, especially fishing with my Dad!

TFTR... Even better to read that you were able to fish with your Dad. I lost my Dad to cancer when I was 19, I sure do miss him and I'm an older guy today, 61.
