I can't believe some people care whether or not someone else uses a net or not. If someone thinks it's not manly to use a net then they have way bigger issues. I could care less if anyone uses one or not, large fish or dink. If that's what one wants to do go for it.

I can't believe some people care whether or not someone else uses a net or not. If someone thinks it's not manly to use a net then they have way bigger issues. I could care less if anyone uses one or not, large fish or dink. If that's what one wants to do go for it. +1 Swing them into the boat, slam them off the side, drop them on the carpet. Be a man, it's just a fish. AARRRGH FLW=nets, all sissies.

I net any fish that needs to be netted that's why I bought the net.

I honestly don't believe anyone actually cares whether someone else uses a net or not. I think those comments were in jest.
I do find it ironic that BASS doesn't allow nets, but allows fishermen to boat flip them onto dry carpet.

I heard something over the last month or so indicating that BASS doesn't use nets because Jerry saw someone (I forget who) in a BASS tournament catch a fish and only get it in the boat because of the net. Tried to find a link to info, but couldn't.
