I haven't seen any Calcutta Cain like we used to use as kids, but Bass Pro and Cabela's both carry telescoping fiberglass poles up to about 15' in length that work well. We used them a few years ago and no complaints. Much easier to transport.
Preserving Texas fishing heritage one lure at a time.

Most of the bamboo poles I have seen are in 2 or 3 sections. I started using the telescoping fiberglass poles for bank fishing crappie and love them. I have two and believe they are 13 footers They are priced very reasonable, a lot more sensitive and store nice.
