There has been a LOT of rain lately affecting both lakes and rivers. Has anyone seen Hall's and Chocolate bayous this week? If so, how does the water look? Did they close down Horseshoe Bend Marina on Chocolate bayou?

We went to Hall's Bayou today. We knew it would be iffy but oh well. There was plenty of evidence that there had been a LOT of rain coming down stream. There was dislodged hydrilla in the tops of the reeds lining the banks. Water was DDIIIRRRTTYYY! Fished for about 3 hours without a single strike. Fished my 6 or 7 places and left. Beautiful day with no fishing action.

It's been slow down here in South Central Texas as well. We got plenty of rain and a lot of places are still flooded! Hopefully things will improve and get better!
