Anyone have any experience these inflatable SUP from NRS?

I talked to Frank Smethurst about them when they came out and he highly endorsed them and inflatable SUP in general.
I know of quite a few places that one of these would be a great tool for if they really are that easy to pack in and inflate.

However, this would be a pretty expensive purchase. NRS currently has them 20% off. Would love to try before I by, but I think they are something of a niche board and usually not stocked.

Would love to hear from anyone who's taken one for a spin. Many thanks in advance!

Do you have any SUP experience? Or fished from one?

Only a few hours worth. A buddy loaned me his to fish below Dolan Falls on the Devils with my fly rod. It was epic. I don't recall what type it was only that is was a hard board and not inflatable. I have a Jackson Cuda 14 and fish from that standing sometimes, but it's not as stable as I would like for that purpose. Certainly not like a true SUP.

Sorry I have no experience in this department. I have seen lots of people using them for just general recreation. I have seen girls doing yoga on them at White Rock, but never seen anyone fish from one.

Could be cool...

Just something about inflatable and fishing that just doesn't give me good vibes.

Talked to NRS and they said yes it's a very niche product with a price to match. That being said they claimed it's probably their most durable inflatable board and a staff favorite for beginners as its' almost impossible to come off of unless you step off the deck. A larry chair will just fit insides the backpack. Despite it's size it's fast to inflate as most of the volume is in the outriggers which are low PSI. 12 minutes from backpack to water. Punctures can happen, but it's tough material and patch kits are always in my bags from too many punctured waders, canoes, kayaks etc.
