Could've been worse. Thankfully it was low speed when she hit me, but it still knocked the alignment out some (pulling hard to the right). Even more thankfully, her insurance was valid (State Farm) and they've agreed that they're liable.

Gonna drop it off at the dealership and make sure there's no damage that I can't see.

For all the jokes we have on here about economy cars eating the trailer hitch of a truck, I sure am glad that's what happened.

Had a lady in a Ford Escape hit my old F150 her right front to my left rear when it was parked in front of the house. Hit it hard enough to move the truck about 8 inches into the curb and bust a leaf spring. Just bent up the bumper and quarter panel.

It knocked the whole right front wheel A frame and all out of her car.

You should've seen the look on the poor girls face when I handed her my business card (for contact information).

I had a lady go under my lifted truck all the way to the tires and lift me up a couple of inches. Hitch was in and the last few threads on the ball punched through her hood. I couldn't ease off so I locked the front hubs, threw her into 4 low and proceeded to open her hood up like a soup can.
