Wanna take the family out Friday evening....any advice on Palestine would be appreciated.
Are they on bridges? Timber?
Thanks!

Have not been on Pal lately, but past experience tells me you should start on BPs in 14-18' water. Purple/Chart has always been my go to jig on Pal.

We hammered the big fish today had 50 of them on Palestine. All fish come on brush piles in 10 to 12 foot of water. Lake is full water temperature is 65 . Fish it hard on jigs. North side of lake. Good luck and have fun!!!

How hard is getting around Palestine?
Live close by but have never been on it.

class act right there thumb

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Fished last weekend and this was best pattern. Pink head on the purple/chartruse helped. Most fish caught on bottom or just off of it. Did catch some shooting docks as shallow as 6' as well.

Easy to navigate the south end now that water has come up 2 feet in the last two weeks. Dont fish the north end much so not sure about dangerous spots to run up there

Be careful on Palestine. It's a stump field!
Perimeter of the lake is navigable, but you can sure enough lose a lower unit in the middle of the lake if you don't know where you're going.
Good Navionics chip in a good GPS unit will get you around, but still take it easy if you don't know the lake.

Always turns on this time of year. When that bridge gets hot, it's HOT!
