Fished from daylight till 1:00 pm and had only one bite caught one fish about 2# on a wacky rigged trick worm. Water was little off color but not bad at all, no current running. Saw some boats going in as we were coming out would like to know how they did in the afternoon. Just one of those days I guess.

The river is dead! The last 3 times I fished it we caugh 2-3 dinks in a 4 hour time span. Fished it 2 times before all the rain and 1 time after.

River should be turning on, especially if they opened the gates..They might be on the outside with the high water..Question was the bait moving any in there?

Big tournament Sunday on Hubbard - of course the river isn't fishing any good...
with the new Lavon flow it should pick up even if it was'nt fishing good.

Never done any good in the river when the gates of Lavon are open. I've caught a few deeper in some of flats and flooded trees where the fish go to hide..

Anytime people say the river is OFF.....I assume it is very ON!!!! if Lavon gates are open make sure your batteries are charged.

Went yesterday. Caught 4 small ones. Water is very dirty and 62 was a high as I saw. I bet it warms up good by tomorrow mid day.
