I am looking at the Lowrance Hook2 tripleshot fish finder.
Was curious if anyone had mounted the transducer to their kayak.
How did you mount it? (Assuming needed to use a transducer arm mount and believe needs to be below the hull of the kayak)
Does it add significant drag.
Do you need to get it level each time you put into the water, each trip, or what.
Any comments about the transciever on the kayak?

What kind of battery are you using and how long does it last.

What size do you have and how does it work with multiple views open?

General comments about the hook2 triple shot on your kayak.

I am thinking the side scan capability will be a great asset in a kayak.
Being able to see far out to the sides will reduce the amount of paddling I need to do to find structure giving me more time fishing.
Getting close to structure looks like the side scan will show fish in the water column at an almost 45 degree angle to each side.

Any comments on side scan experience in you kayak?
