I have a Tactical series I use for my jig setup and love it. As time goes on when I need to replace any it will be one of the TFO's.

Kind of a stretch. It is a decent rod though. Best? Not even close. Daiwa makes three or four that would be better and Loomis, Edge, Shimano, and a whole slew of custom rods would take the claim before a TFO. But...again, it is a good rod.

Rods are fine but i wont have anything to do with them any more after dealing with their "customer service" and "warranty". Screw them and their lies

I got one at the Skeeter Owners Tournament this year and I cant say that I am fan of it. I will look tonight at what model it is, but I know it is a medium heavy and I can not use it as a medium heavy at all. I have found a purpose for it, but it is much lighter then your typical medium heavy and it would actually be tough for me to even call it a medium action. I doubt they offer up there top of the line models for the $50/60 Skeeter Tournament option, but I cant say that this one instilled any confidence in the brand for me.

You must be the one guy that one time then. They have fantastic service and this is the first I’ve heard otherwise.

I'm with Shallow Waters, but like him I just have 2 from the Skeeter Tourny. I am sure they have better models, but I do still use them.

I had a medium, tactical crankin' rod that I loved, until it snapped on a 3lb fish... Thought they had a great warranty, but they don't on the bass stuff anymore.

If memory serves correct, they charged $50 or $60, even though it was clearly a rod failure. Wouldn't discuss it, and since my model was no longer in production they gave me the new "pacemaker" that was had much faster tip and seemed more med/heav then med. They did acknowledged this. I said since I mostly used the rod for squarebills, and I wasn't sure if it'd work. They didn't seem to care, but said it should work. I asked if I could try it and bring it back for something else if it didn't work, "only if I left all the tags and wrap on it." huh? Loved their rods/service prior, maybe too many people took advantage of them. Either way, I don't like their new rods and wouldn't buy another.

It's worth noting they gave me a free hat on the way out that's currently collecting dust.

I would agree with you on the Daiwa and Loomis if you want to go to the Steez or NRX and spend 3 times more than you would spend on the TFO. In the TFO price range I thinks it's the best going. Can't comment on the Edge or Shimano as I've never had any dealings with them.
