Ive never caught a walleye. Been thinking about a trip to Meredith and try to target them.

Any tips? Is there a time of year that is best for them?

I thought most of them had died off. Are you catching walleye or hearing reports of folks catching them?

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

I just checked the stocking report. Looks like they started restocking in 2016.

I grew up in Borger , Meredith was a wonderful fishery in the 70's.

good luck to you fish deprived folks in the Panhandle.

We used to fish Meredith in the 90s with Kelly Jones. Loved catching those walleye on Suspending Rogues.
