Length, action, line capacity and eye diameter of favorite dead sticking rod . Price is a small variable. Tandem setup is a must.

Thank you one and all.

I like a few different ones. My top pick is- The Temple Fork TFG Pro,MH 7', 1/2-1 1/2 oz and up to 25 lbs line. I'm not sure on guide dia, but there is 9 of them.

I have a Falcon Bucco Heavy that is a 7' rod that feels more like it is between MH and H I like alot as well. I think it has 8 guides that are not the micro kind.

Surprisingly enough, we still have an old brown All-Star Carolina Rig Rod that works pretty well also. It is 7' MH, but it is pretty much a H IMO. It doesn't balance as well and is heavier in weight than the other two.

We also have a few of those blue 7' MH Ethos rods from Academy that seem to be a lot of rod for the money, although they are not my favorite.

I like basspro Carbonlite rods. 7MH is about as versatile as it gets in my opinion. I jig 1oz spoons with it, but cast smaller lures with it bc the tip is very fast and loads up well. Itll detect a light bite while dead sticking. Light weight rod with plenty of back bone to haul in stripers but still lets you have fun when fighting the whites.
