So I’ve recently become aware that fury 4 props have been slinging blades due to possible casting problems and I’m interested in selling the two fury 4 props I have and getting something that won’t let me down when it counts... I’m basically prop stupid and would greatly appreciate some recommendations of a quality 4 blade 14.5 24p replacements.

the tempest plus has a very good reputation.

however.... all props will eventually crack a blade. it's just part of it.

I guess he could just idle around if he’s really scared.

I’m not scared... I just have the mindset of getting out of them while they are still worth something instead of wasting my time/money with unneeded failures and the possible back and forth of trying to get merc to warranty it out ...

I ran a Tempest Plus for a long time with zero issues. I wish I had one on my current boat but I already have 2 props for it. The only blade I after slung came off a push mower. It was a scary site to see and hear that thing flying inches off the ground. Just glad it went out the side.

I bought a Power Tech several months back and they are great people to work with. They have a 30 day exchange policy if you are not happy. I don't remember the circumstances but for some reason I was not going to get to test mine within the 30 days. I called and they said no problem as long as it is in like new condition. Lots of different prop styles.
