I am having to have my lower unit and prop replaced due to hitting a submerged object. Insurance company is telling me one to two weeks to approve the claim. They have received all of the info from the dealer, estimate, photos, etc. Is one to two weeks normal to approve a claim? Mercury lower units are on backorder, 4-7 weeks, now adding one to two weeks to this whole mess.
