At Tilden right now it's 6.4 feet and 162 cfs. Should get a little shot from the rains moving up through dilly. What site are you using? Obviously the one I watch is screwed up. (usgs - water for data)

Yeah, all the water coming down the Nueces would probably fill Choke. Lake CC is full so all that water coming down the next 2-4 weeks will just pass right through. Some parts of Calallen (CR 73) will likely be underwater for the next 2 months. There better be a bumper crop of shrimp after all this fresh water they are getting.

Does anyone know where you can buy yellow spinnerbaits not chartreuse I am talking yellow. There use to be a little shop on the way to choke that sold them back in the 90s and they were killer back then. Im headed that way next weekend for a kayak tournament and would love to find some
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst

Elroy could have fished without a skirt on a spinner bait and caught fish.
He was so far ahead of his time on fishing it was unreal. He was frog fishing lake Corpus Christi back in the day when we didnt even know what frog fishing was.
Thanks, Billy

They never worked for me and about all I can figure is that they resemble a carp. The man kind of scared me and I was always afraid to ask him questions, sure regret that now! Had Donald Harper make something similar up a few years back, havent thrown them much. I did have a 5lber on one of the jigs.

Cantaloupe, same color Mark Menedez used to catch that bassmaster 13lber on Richland Chambers years ago, that color pops real good in stained water.

Any new updates on the water level with the additional rains?

Any new updates on the water level with the additional rains? No change to speak of, came up .20. Might gain a few inches over the next week. Its officially 20ft low.

Pretty good amount of water hitting the lake now. It should come up another foot.
