Adam and I were both out for three trips this past week and fished for Whites on all of them. We stayed on the Main Lake and fished the well known locations (Pelican Island, Windsock Point, Flats, etc.) on all of them. Fish are still on the move and after catching a few fish you normally have to move a little to find them again. Sometimes you may just move a boat length or two, or maybe move to a foot or two deeper on a hump, and you find them again. Lots of small Whites and Hybrids are mixed in with Keeper Fish. Fish are in 20'-25' FOW and the best bite will occur when you find them hugging the bottom. We caught all our fish on RSR Slabs with a Jig Teaser. The Lake is rising and I'm guessing will be at Full Pool Level in the next 24 hours. Chambers Creek is at Flood Level and Lake Bardwell that feeds the Creek is over Pool Level. I'm guessing Spillway Gates will be open in the next few days with all the rain that's forecast. Normally this will not stop the White Bass bite but we will see! Adam and I have Weekday Openings late this Week and next Week. Here's a few Pics from this week.

Thanks,
Royce & Adam Simmons

Nice report - especially sharing "how to" and "where to" catch fish. I got over your way on Thursday and have a post on here about it. What do you call the old airport area - especially around the submerged foundations of the buildings that used to be there?
