What a change in the weather. Usually I don't go fishing when a cold front just blows in unless its catfishing but I took time off work so I went anyways. It was a beautiful day from start to finish. The bite was way different then it is in warmer weather. It started off slow and could not feel the thump. As the day progressed the bite got heavier and started feeling like what I'm used to on normal conditions. Never thought I'd be crappie fishing with a hoodie on all day but it beats the hell out of the 100s. I was fishing with 1/8oz jig head with Black Chartreuse Rocky Top.

Good haul! I’ve been wanting to try arrowhead and Kickapoo have a lease real close to Kickapoo might give me something to do between hunts.

I've been thinking of hauling the boat to the lease and fishing Lake Stamford. Not sure what to expect crappie wise..

Did you get your side scan setup/dialed in out there yesterday? Nice job No not yet I'm still tinkering with it. Been trying to get the new update on it then the fish reveal update on it. I'll see what it looks like tomorrow and post some pics of it.
