Reminded me of a co worker that bought his first boat for bar hoping along ICW in Ft.Lauderdale. Tied it up tight at low tide at one of the popular bars, found it full of water at high tide.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

we live in a canal neighborhood and after Ike, you just wouldn't believe how many people left their boats in the slings and they got trapped by the roof and filled up with water. 5000 plus lb of water in the boat, hanging in the slings. some didn't land in the slings when the water went down.

LOL... it's a good way to rinse out the splash well ... and the inside of the hull LOL. I backed into the ramp a couple of days ago, put the boat just into the water when I remembered. LOL.. Still happens to the best of us.
