Has turnover occurred on lake Fork this year? Sometimes fish dont bite real well during turnover. The water temp early last week was in the high 70s and I am not sur3 how cool it must get for the turnover to occur?

Fork hasnt turned over.
I dont think weve had a turnover event since 2015 in north TEXAS. It takes a rapid change in temperature for a decent amount of time for true turnover to happen. Our lakes usually mix, instead of turning over.

We have a real thermocline on fork and I dare someone to catch a fish in 40 foot deep water fishing on the bottom. If you are fishing in 40 feet deep you best be fishing 20 feet above bottom.just my recent experience.
