I have a 2011 Ranger. It has the NEMA 2000 installed in the boat. Engine hours are displayed on the Lowrance graf . Is it possible to hook up where water pressure can be seen on the Lowrance as well.
How many lbs of pressure should a 250 SHO Yamaha be putting out..at idle and full throttle?
Thanks for help
Tommy

Yes it is. There is a conversion kit that Yamaha sells. About $175.

oops missed typed NMEA 2000 water pressure sensor. 2011 SHO Where would one go about ordering one and How many $$$$$ would he expect to pay for it.
What would be the expected water pressure on a 250 hp SHO?

You can get the water pressure sensor from SIM yamaha. I typically see around 3 psi at idle before the thermostat opens. Once the thermostat opens you will see barely anything maybe 1 PSI at idle. On plane You will see somewhere between 8-15 PSI depending on if the stats are open and what your RPM is. I believe the minimum yamaha specifies is 13 PSI at WOT. I bought the sensor because I dumped all my gauges and run everything through the HDS units.

I am getting water in the bottom of the boat by the drivers feet. I thought is was the water pressure line leaking but I cut the line and have the water running down the back of the boat where I can see the stream of water. I am still making water in the bottom of the boat at drivers feet. I now think it is the speedometer. I have had the boat lifted from the trailer with a crane to check for damage to the boat bottom, none was found. Only thing left is the speedometer or the live wells are leaking some how. Pulling my hair out trying to find where the water is coming from. The engine hours are showing on the HDS, speed is shown on the hds and the speedometer does not work properly.
We fished a tournament on Big Sam this passed weekend and had more water than ever as we run more miles on it than we do on the smaller lakes around home. It leaks enough that it get the carpet wet and puddles then runs to the middle drain. The auto bilge pump comes on several time a day while fishing so it is making a lot of water. I have a small pair of vice grips that I am going to shut the speed line down to see if that is where the water is coming from.
Anybody have any other ideas.

Yes the plug is in. It has a T on the back side of it so it stays in just hangs down when not screwed in so it can not be in the wrong hole. Ready for the rain to stop so I can check to see if it the speed o meter line that is leaking.
