Great afternoon on the river. Caught tons of whites up to 16 inches, gar, catfish and largies. Most were caught on the jenko squarebill in shad. Also this bowfishing guide decided to wade the shallow part of the flood water release at the dam. Not sure that's legal or safe. But they survived with no issues so what do I know. Anyways hope all is well. Enjoy

Great photos and report thumb I haven't been white bass fishing since May. I've been missing it. The water looks great. I always thought the San Jacinto was muddy but that water looks very clear.

Is that the dam below Lake Conroe?
