Last minute idea to go here. Takes about 1.5 hours to get there from my house. I used to do well out there but have not fished it in about 3 years. I have not heard anything about the lake in a while. Is it still open ? I would hate to get there I find out something has changed!

It's there and I fish it regularly. Lots of cat tails and hydrilla Akers finding them harder than it used to.


One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!

That's a good choice early. Senkos are also good.
