Heading there this weekend with a group of cub scouts, going to be out fishing on kayaks wanted to see if there was any current intel around the park area.

Thanks!

Thanks, its my first time on the lake, and really my first time not with a guide looking for Stripers. Going to get there early tomorrow and see if I can scout it all out for Saturday.

I would like to know myself. Just may head up there Saturday morning. Its been a month since I was there and they were holding next to river channel and eating live shad.

I'll come back with my Friday findings, plan to fish basically sun up to sun down. Hopefully I won't be empty handed.

Been going to Whitney every week for the last 3 weeks and with the cloudy weather they have been feeding on top water on flats. I went out today and it has been the same patterned but I notice they were more scattered this time. I have notice that they bite from 8am-4pm, watch the birds, fish around the area where lakehaven bed and breakfast is at. The action is crazy with them chasing shad on top water. If you need more info send me a pm.

The water is very cloudy, I guess a result of the rains. The striper are very scattered and a lot more stealthy than last month.
