Lake Fork - 10.5, Noon, in May, hot as hell and blue bird skies, on a 1/2OZ Craw Rat-L-Trap over grass in 10-15'

Closer to late morning. 11lb 4oz. Approximately 15'-17' of water. On an old Mann's deep diving crank-bait in fire tiger. It was the largest of a 37lb five fish stringer.

About 1 p.m. on May 1, 2000 on Cooper. 10.75 pounds. A guy in a boat 50 yards from us caught two over 10 pounds on back to back casts about five minutes before I caught mine.

Caught my last DD on the very first cast of the morning, 6:20 a.m. and still pitchdark outside.

February 1993, Lake Fork off main lake point at 4:00 p.m. 16.86 lbs.

Around 2:00pm, 14.1 when caught 13.9 when TPWD showed up. Wieghtless fluke on inside grass line in Indian on Roberts the first week of March. Cloudy, south winds cranking around 20mph. Troll motor dragging the bottom with big motor in the grass to slow drift. That day main lake 50, water behind grass was right at 60. Caught 6-7 nice fish before her in the first 30 minutes I fished. Went straight to spot from ramp. Just one of those days. Only went that day because I caught a 6 & a 7 at apartment pond that morning in drizzling rain. Said screw this the big girls are biting I am going to the lake. Loaded up and took off to Roberts.

12.48 lbs Feb 24, 1990 just before midnight Lake Benbrook. I called Dave Cambell to see if I could submit it in the Sharelunker program but in not so many words he suggested he had already gotten in hot water for taking some in the previous year that were just under the 13 lb requirement so he would have to pass. Now I think they take 8 lbers? Lol, go figure.
