What do you do on opening day of dove season? Go out and catch 25 hybrid and 150 sand bass LOL.
Fishboy (Frank) , Championfish (Gene) and I hit tawakoni this morning at daylight and we got on some good action catching 25 hybrid with only four unders. That was fantastic. We also landed about 150 sand bass as well. We only stayed out until 2:00 pm but it took us over an hour to clean 75 sand bass and yes 15 HYBRID!! We saw them on the side imaging all day. It was epic. . We left em biting because we had had enough. We caught all our fish on slabs and tail spinners. It was a great day to be on the water. Had a blast Frank and Gene can't wait to do it again.

Keith there are certain days where God just says it's time to get blessed! What a blessing today was. I take no day for granted. Today out fishing I said a prayer for our buddy Terry sitting in the hospital. To have friends is great. To have friends that love to fish is greater... As I always say. It's the Archer not the arrows! We hit the target so many times today I lost track. Thanks to you and Gene for first the friendship. Second the fantastic fishing. There's a correlation there. We were blessed today! Looking forward to the next time.

Scotty I know right! David Dodd used to tell me, "Don't look so serious. It's fishing-smile!" Every time going we are fishing I can't sleep. So I'm like a zombie out there sometimes.

That table shot doesn�t do our big fish justice. We had some 22 and 23 inchers in our limits on the table and all of those huge Sandbass. Keith was putting on a clinic catching his personal best as far as the amount of big Hybrids he put in the boat in 1 trip. We left the fish biting and we didn�t want to leave but the heat was stifling and the wind layed down. Our fish were caught on ledges at 25 feet. We were using 1 1/2 ounce slabs, tailspinners, and arigs. We were on the water at daylight until 2.00. It was hot guys, be sure you have plenty of water and a big hat.
