I have never been on Port Aransas Jetty and I planned on fishing there this weekend, does anyone know if I can pull my Pier Cart close to the end of the Jetty or is the rock formation too far apart to do that? Also, I see a fishing pier close to the jetty on Google Map, what is the name of the pier and do they allow pier carts.

Thanks,

You can only pull a pier cart about halfway down the jetty, then it begins to turn into an uneven rock formation. You can however bring a cart down the pier. If it is the Horace Caldwell pier you are talking about that is.

Really depends on the size of the wheels and stability of the cart, and, that is doesn't weigh more than you might have to lift to bridge a few gaps.

You can get a cart further down the north jetty than the south jetty.
