Check out DORBA (Dallas Off-road Bike association) http://www.dorba.org Gives you a list of some trails in the metro. Bikes shops to check out Sun and Ski at grapevine mills mall, Giant shop at lakeside, Cadence Highland village, Bikes Plus Flower Mound. I ride occasionally at Northshore, I also hit Horseshoe in Grapevine when I'm short on time. We have a really good trail system in the metroplex. Bike wise I'm a hardtail riding, tights wearing, Gay Helmet'er!

Yes, I ride regularly, and I've ridden and "crashed" on most of the DFW trails.
A few bones and shoulder joints were broken and left on some trails as well. I haven't been good at fishing recently, but riding and crashin', yep, veteran status!

I'm mostly at Rowlett Creek, Erwin, Harry Moss, Arbor Hills and when I feel like making the trip, Boulder, Big Cedar, Northshore or Horseshoe! I still want to check out Goat Island.

Go get'em!

That is another issue I am not a youngster at 62 but in reasonable shape very active heat normally does not bother me...etc. I don't plan on riding full out I just want to ride the trails at a decent pace. Watching the guys that make the vids at full speed that is not my goal. Just light exercise and enjoy the scenery and try not to get hurt while doing so.

Wasn't that simple growing up on the south side of Ennis. We were so poor the ducks threw bread at us. I prayed everyday for 2yrs that I would get a bike. God never answered those prayers. So I went and stole one and asked God for forgiveness.
