We're in the Raielgh Durham / Chapel Hill area for 2 weeks.
Then Jacksonville N.C. 3-weeks.
If anyone knows of some don't miss seeing this, (places).

This area is knee deep in colleges. UNC., DUKE, and Wake Forest. We are dodging all falling Civil War Statues.. eeks
Anyway, thought I'd ask.

There are no Ivy League schools in North Carolina.

You need to do a little fishing at Lake Shearin Harris. I'd say 50% of the time someone will weigh in a double digit in every tournament. If I wasn't working an outage right now, I'd offer a day of fishing on Gaston just a couple hours north of you.

It's not in the immediate area, but Kitty Hawk is about 200 miles away on the coast. Neat national park about the Wright Brothers and the first airplane flights.

Think I'd have to visit Ft Bragg, loved that place and the Special Warfare Center. Of course the 82nd AID is there, and they do a lot of parades. smile

We were in western North Carolina last autumn and really enjoyed it (Bryson City and Asheville area). Took a detour to east to Pinehurst to visit the county where my dad was born and raised - very pretty. If you like golf, Pinehurst is a great spot to visit and get a round or two in.

I am flying out in the morning. Final destination Beulaville NC. about 15-20 miles NW of Jacksonville. I have a guide trip scheduled for Sunday morning out of Wrightsville Beach. My cousin injured himself so it looks like I will be fishing it alone with the guide.

Good Fishing To Ya,
Ruben
