What's the best thing to sit on when bank fishing from the rip-rap? I've used everything from flotation cushions to 5-gallon buckets. This beat the heck out of rocks, but I'm wondering if there isn't something little more comfortable. Someone ought to sell a riding mower tube covered with tough fabric.

Sometimes when bank fishing my wife will use a portable folding stadium seat.

I'll give this some serious consideration.

Most recently I used a neck pillow that you would take on an airplane or road trip. It worked for a few hours but then got so compacted it wasn't much better than sitting directly on the rock. But it didn't really matter what was under my bum, my back started hurting anyways.
I usually avoid rip rap at all costs. I need my fancy foldup chair.
