I will be spending 4-5 days in the Marco Islands mid March and was looking for guide recommendations for inshore/ possibly offshore fishing. Would like to do some Peacock Bass fishing one day as well. Also what species would be the target for that time of yr.

I lived there a number of years and the fly shop in Naples is good down to earth people. They can set up. I wish I was good with names, but the younger fellow is a good canal guide. The good thing about the area is a guide is nice, but there is a stretch of HWY to homestead that is good and cheap. There is a couple of ponds in the Everglade park off of HWY41 that can be done from the bank. use goggle earth. Just drive the road pull over and fish the road side, I land Tarpon, snook,cichlids, a short walk off of the airport near corn dance hammock are peacock bass. Any of the ponds are good. take a few pictures
