Tired of not being able to just go pick up a bait tank at the store? Dont want to wait 6-8 weeks or pay hefty shipping cost?

Well I have become a retailer for Shad Shack Bait Tanks. I hope to keep the 30, 40, and 50 gallon tanks in stock and available the best I can. We can also make custom “one off” tanks from your specs as well for an additional fee for computer work. Also have a production 75 gallon, but will not keep it in stock, but can be ordered thru me.

The first person to buy a 50 gallon will get an upgraded locking latch for free ($40 value).
The first to buy a 40 gallon will get shipping cost at $25 instead of the normal $75.

Tanks are plug and play (install your type plug). Comes with filters, pump, and a dannco venturi for aeration.
What really sets these tanks apart is the bottom intake, filter box, and the amount of square inches of usable filter material.

30 gallon $650 + shipping 24”x30”x25”
40 gallon $725 + shipping 24”x36”x25”
50 gallon $750 + shipping 24”x40”x25”
75 gallon $950 + shipping 24”x45”x27”

*Shipping is to my place of business, not to your door step. Shipping cost right now is $75 and tanks are available for local pick up or we can arrange to meet somewhere.
**Shipping cost are subject to change
Im located in Fort Worth, TX

Check us out on FB or text me with any questions or to purchase, thanks.

These tanks work great - due to the extra filter surface filter cleanings can wait until the end of the day.
I have been using one since Feb '18

I like the looks of the filtration system, however, what filtering device(s) are on the bottom where water goes back into tank ?

The dirty water comes up thru the stand pipe. The water goes through 3 stages of filtration and leaves the filter box through the sides of the filter rack.
The filtered water is then pumped through a Danco Venturi aerator and back into the bait side of the tank. The pump is always pumping filtered clean water.

Hope that answered your question.

Gborg,

Voodew is correct. Those grates are the intake for the water to flow into the filter box. Most tanks you have probably seen the intake is attached to the divider wall. As you have also probably seen at the end of the day the circulation has pushed all the poo, rocks the big gizzards upchucked, mud, etc into the center of the tank and not thru to the filter side.

The center of the tank intake prevents that and the size of the intake allows more coverage to allow water in. Not just a 1”-1.5” pipe on the side of the tank pulling water in.

Water goes thru the grates, out stand pipe by gravity, thru the filters, into the filter reservoir where the pump is waiting to push the clean water thru a dannco aerator adding O2 and then into the bait side.

Great concept, probably the best filtration system I have seen commercially produced. The tank itself, is it one piece or is it several pieces connected via screws, adhesive or other process? It appears to be multiple pieces, but I may be wrong. Is it insulated?

Surface area of a 1”-1.5” pipe vs the grates comparison.

Tank is welded, top (not the lid) and bottom are one piece, others are welded together.
It is insulated as well.

Had a 30 gallon tank get a little exterior damage during shipping.
Nothing wrong with it it all other then the dent. Does not leak and performs flawlessly.

Knocking $100 off total price! If you dont like it after a month bring it back and I will refund your $ 100%. (This tank only).
