I wonder sometimes if down-riggers really do have this effect on fish. Right Clay

Ive heard of the downrigger ball hitting fish at times.  Im gonna make it out there to see how my captain Macks umbrella rigs fair soon.

Here lately I swear they have been lol! Up till about two or three weeks ago I was nailing them but it has been hit or miss last two or three weeks! I see them on sonar too which just makes me so dang mad knowing I'm on them but them not cooperating!  I got a few tricks up my sleeve but did buy a few crank baits just incase the dog days of summer call for crankbaits slamming into the floor of the lake like you're doing to entice them to bite. I just don't get why I was doing so dang good catching 30-40 fish in a two-three hour trip and now them turning their nose at my rig on some days recently. Love the cartoon Timmy!
