Going to Ray Roberts for this first time I know that there are a lot of stumps out there where on the lake is safe to be on plane and where do I need to idle? Any help would be appreciated

Anywhere from Wolf Island North, you need to idle unless you have someone show you around. Otherwise the main lake south of there is fine to run all you want but obviously once you get into the creeks, you should idle with the exception of State Park where you can run all the way to the back just by staying in the middle.

Chris is spot on, be careful though. This time of the year there is plenty of good fishing in the main lake without having to go way up north into the creeks.

Majority of the fish are on the main lake and deep.... honestly with the water dropping it would make me pretty nervous to get up in those creeks on pad.
