Never been to LBJ but I have a get together there this month in which I am bringing my boat do do some bass fishing, but google isn't showing much on where the boat ramps are. Do y'all know where the most accessible (with good parking) ramps are?

Do you know what community you staying in? Most of them have community boat ramps for owners and their guest.

Bluebriar park is the only truly public ramp that I have used down there.

Sunrise is a good free ramp.

Bluebriar is smaller but good too.

Yacht club is the biggest one with a large paved parking lot and has a launch fee.

LBJ is a more or less constant level lake.. Personally I kinda like the yacht club ramp and marina, but that's if you want to be on the deep end. And like speedboat says, lots of private community ramps.. I was there yesterday seeing my sister, not fishing, they live on the Colorado arm, that place is really taking off with the new Boattown burger on the Llano arm and the new Wakepoint marina..big money coming in.

Yacht Club & Marina is the best ramp when considering parking. It's $10 to launch there. You also have McNair Park, Bluebriar Park, and there are 2 ramps in Granite Shoals. They're smaller though.

We are staying at the Treehouse Hideaway Rental, which looks to be up on the northern end of the lake kind of up the Colorado river a ways. Boocat, I dont actually have anything like that downloaded, Ill check it out though!

I put in at the Yacht Club today. Has a great ramp, but at ten bucks a throw I'm gonna have to find another place that's free! My third time on the lake and spending 4 -5 hours each trip. Caught the biggest one of the three trips so far at just under 5 pounds on a shaky head. I live on Travis in Jonestown, but our ramps are nearly unusable and Travis has been a dink fest for me so far. Hooking up the Go-Pro for next time out so I can start getting some pics since I usually fish by myself. I need to go upriver and check out what's up there. Good luck Fingerless...you'll like it!

And I guess I really didn't mean you have to have an app. Just go to https://www.navionics.com/usa/ and hit chart viewer at the top, very cool. and the chart plotter works too.

Kingsland community park might be the closest one for you.

bluebriar park is right in the middle of the lake and is free. It's 1 lane and not much parking, but it gets the job done.
