Kid must have some great sponsors. Check out the two 10 incher's on the front and looks like he's got plenty of Rods and reels. 14 lb'er on a 1000 acre lake ? CB would be proud of that.

There is no doubt that is a very nice fish. It does not look like 14 pounds to me though.

There is no doubt that is a very nice fish. It does not look like 14 pounds to me though. How many 14 lb. fish have you caught? By the way, if you read the article... "The beast weighed 14 pounds, 2 ounces on their scale, after multiple tests to confirm it, and it was accepted as the Carroll County 1,000-Acre Recreational Lake record."

I don't think he claimed to have caught any 14 lb fish in his post. I believe he is just saying that the fish in the picture does not appear to be 14 lbs. I'd agree as well. And what does "multiple tests to confirm it" mean?? Seems kind of ambiguous. They cant just say "the fish was weighed on multiple scales"? Was that even the one of the other "tests"?
