I'm making a list of places to stay on Toledo that I haven't yet. I can also respond to people who ask about that area. Besides:
  • Fin and Feather
  • Harbor Light Marina

what other places are there? It doesn't necessarily have to be on the lake either, but preferably on the Texas side. Thanks!

We have just started finding a house near or on a lake to rent. They are usually cleaner, more secure, private and, if you go with a couple of folks - cheaper than most places.

The A frame cabins at San Miguel are decent and very good for the price. No TV though. I kinda like the no TV part.

I recently stayed at Fisherman's Village Lodge. It is a great house that can sleep up to 12 and offers easy access to both the Texas and Louisiana sides b/c it is located very near the Penndleton Bridge. The folks that run the place are very nice.
