There's lots of good motels and hotels, but I'm looking for something with an inside lounge. None of the websites give that information. I like a couple of beers after a day's drive, and don't care to go outside my motel area to get one.

Hill Country Cupboard next door to the the Best Western has a happy hour mon-fri from 5-7 according to their website. Could be wrong, but I don't think there are any motel/hotels in J-City have an actual bar on their premises.

won't find anything like that in J City. Ever been there? One or two restaurants in town you could probably have a beer. Kenny's Cantina and Pecan Street Brewing on the square more or less. Old Lumber Yard?
