 Question for zx 200 owners

Pulling the trigger on a new to me zx 200. Can you fit an 8 foot rod in the rod storage compartment? I can fit all of my long punching rods in my older zx 190, so I would think you can.

I thought so, I've had my fly rod/crappie pole in mine but don't remember how long it is lol.
