TEXAS RATTLER™ introduced it's new soft plastic, the TEXAS WALKING SHRIMP™ on our web site this weekend, and it made its mark in two Tourney's.

Scott Allen Tilley won 3rd Place in the Lone Star Kayak Series and is currently tied for 2nd Place overall with a legit shot at Angler of the Year award with 2 Tournaments to go.

Capt. Patrick Tabor and Capt. Jason finished in 10th Place in the Saltwater Legends Redfish Rumble with out of 150 of some of the best Guides and Tourney Anglers in the state of Texas.

Congrats to these anglers on their success and putting the new TEXAS WALKING SHRIMP™ to good use.

Congrats to Capt. Clint Smith, Corpus Christi, Tx. of the TEXAS RATTLER™ Pro Staff and his trusty Red/WildEye TEXAS RATTLER jig.

Last Friday, in a small 10 boat Tournament his clients won the Tournament - biggest stringer and biggest fish.

Then on Saturday, Capt. Clint's clients won biggest Trout in a contractor tournament with over 50 boats fishing in it.

That biggest Trout that won this Tourney was caught on a Red/WildEye 1/4 oz. Texas Rattler.

OK, been getting some PM's on how the TEXAS WALKING SHRIMP™ was rigged to catch those Tourney reds and get those anglers in the money.

Here is the set up they used on the TEXAS RATTLER™ Z-MAX™ to freeline and pick those reds out of the grass beds.

This set up also works awesome under a popping cork - great for kids or adults.

Thats pretty sweet, Grinder!

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

TroyKing - Big Reds are luvin' it !!!

There are several ways to rig and an angler can use it "as he sees fit" for his own fishin' needs.

Here is a red caught by a kayak angler over the 4th of July - and look at the girth on this red, .. he's been eating well and looks like shrimp was on his menu.
;-)

TEXAS WALKING SHRIMP™ in 'action' with live croakers attacking it …. Trout, Redfish and Drum are all a part of the croaker family - whose main diet is shrimp !!!

The TEXAS WALKING SHRIMP™ are just as good as "live shrimp" and cheaper !!!

Congrats to Scott Tilley from Edna, Texas of the TEXAS RATTLER™ Pro Staff who finished in 2nd Place for Angler of the Year in the Rudy's Redfish Yak Attack Southern Division Tournament Series covering 6 different venues this year.

Scott had to take a penalty because 2 of his redfish expired on the way to weigh-in. He lost by 2 points.

The Lone Star Kayak Tournament Series is still going on and Scott is tied for 2nd Place for Angler of the Year in that event.

There are 4 ways to rig the TEXAS WALKING SHRIMP™ and depending on conditions, these are the ways the way our Tourney Anglers have been using it.

CONGRATS !!! … to the team "Reel Keepers" - the Lady Anglers for TEXAS RATTLER™ Pro Staff and their 4th Place finish in the 'Saltwater Sweeties Best of the Bay' fishing Tourney this past weekend competeing against someof the top guides in the Coastal Bend.

Here is the report from "Reel Keepers" team member Hope Slaughter:

"Reel Keepers at it again! Fishing Saltwater Sweeties Tourney, great fundraiser for the Texas Coastal Bend Guides Association! We fished artificial only, fished hard and still had fun! Finished 4th, hard to compete against guides, but we try!! We waded and fished off the boat, we fell, sunk in the mud, sat on treble hooks, and still kept on going, waded with a four foot black tip, kept still for a moment or 5, then kept on going! 3 of of us wading, shark between me and the boat, Becky asked Jen what is it, she replied, it’s a black tip but it’s circling Hope, so no problem! Love my girls! Fishing Hotties on the Harbor next weekend!! All fish caught on TEXAS RATTLER™ Z-MAX™ weightless hooks and 3JD Lures."

TEXAS RATTLER™ Pro Staff Capt. Patrick Tabor Jr. and Capt. Jason Geigenmiller are fishing the ELITE REDISH SERIES in Kemah, Texas this weekend - which has over $60,000.00 in prize money for big slot Reds under 28".

They were Tournament Pre-Fishing yesterday and looking for fat reds under 28".

This RedFish was 1/2" over and 11 lbs.

Tourney day is today and Capt. Pat & Capt. Jason are on the hunt for a couple that will slide under the 28" mark and get some double digit weight to them.

Stay tuned … looks like these two pros are some nice Reds …
