not hearing much about the sand bass at fork; a few years ago they seemed to be everywhere. anyone seeing any around fork these days?

we catch a few strays here and there,...but the sandy-fest of a few years ago is few and far between...
hardly ever see any big schools busting anymore...sad. frown

Is there speculation on what happened to them ? Plenty of forage in the lake..

They will be back on humps and points when the water cools off some. We wrecked them this spring and early summer. They did pull their july 1st disappearing act a little early this year, but they will show back up.

I found them 2 weeks ago down by the dam. They were hammering a spoon and crappie jig. Some nice ones.
