i use the works and get it at the dollar store. it's a toilet bowl cleaner and is caustic. wear gloves and you will need to rewax after using the stuff, but it will get the brown off.

"The Works" toilet bowl cleaner. Only like $1-2 a bottle. Squirt it on, let it sit for a minute and hose it off. You'll be amazed how well it works.
