Thinking about heading out sometime this weekend. Anyone having any luck? Haven't been out in a while. The last time I went at night I had a great spinnerbait bite going. That was about 6 weeks ago. Any tips would be appreciated.

I would bet you could go to the Dam and catch them at night. Just be careful lots of idiots on the water after dark on that pond.

I would never try and night fish the Lew. It's just too dangerous. The drunk idiots like to stay out real late on that lake. It just ain't worth risking your life over.

Night fishing on Lewisville is awesome, not as many idiots out as people say there are. We have an all night tourney out there every year in August. usually takes 18 to 26 lbs to win. The dam is a very good place to fish but it will eat up a lot of lures, so is the I-35 bridge. There are several ways to catch them on Lewisville at night. Crank baits on rip rap and spinner baits too. Also soft plastics and jigs just about anywhere you would fish them during the day. Cover lots of water, when you find some fish slow down and work the area. Off shore structure is good when the wind allows it. good luck.

Day time ain't much better on the weekends. About as safe standing on the corner of Hatcher and Second Ave. at midnight. walking

35 bridge always did it for us. Haven’t tried it since they added the new bridge. Blue fleck worm, jigs, midnight special spinnerbait slow rolled and 8” worms. Also in sneaky Pete’s.

Went out last night for about 2 and a half hours with not one bite. Fished the dam and the rock points on the hickory creek side. I should have went into Sneaky Petes like Rick James said. At least I avoided Dennis Rodman! This time.

Was there very many people on the lake after dark?

It was always slow until about 11 then would pick up. You barely night fished.

Last night was not good for me either, Sneaky petes was not productive. The amount of shad and ghost minnows in there right now is unreal, the fish could just swim around with their mouths open and be full.
