Here is my review of the Old Town Topwater 106. Picked it up on Monday before I flew out to ICAST, so I had a few hours to get it on the water for a quick review.

Considering the Top water 120. Any issues with the wind? Looks like quite a bit of free board and high deck might have issues with wind. Also what type of hull? Overall great looking kayak.

Thanks for the review. Note: NICE paddle too. How did the short boat track for you?

A little off topic, but do you see the 120 being available with the PDL drive?

The Topwater 12 PDL wont be available in PDL this year. The closest you will get is the Ocean Malibu PDL which is a 12' and released last year. It was mainly focused for more of the "beach/fun" than a "fishing Kayak", but overall it is very capable. Those with the previous year Predator PDL's will be able to retrofit their rudder control to the new "2019 locking knob" controls later on this year.

-The Topwater 106 tracked very well and was very stable. I only had a few hours, so it wasnt that good of a test. I plan on taking it to the brazos in the Morning.
