Wife has the inside track on an inspector job there and was told the superintendent would take me on herding cattle. I don't know Jack about cows, but right now I'm selling stuff to farmers and ranchers I know nothing about anyway. grin

The next best option is San Angelo. That'd be okay too. Just hate moving. The process sux.

I wish I knew where all of this cheap land was when I was looking to buy some to build our house on. The cheap land I looked at was usually the worst acreage someone had that they wanted to dump for 7-10 thousand per acre.

Mobile Homes these days are nice!! I have only lived in one once in my 55 years and it was not bad!! still like a house though!!

you have to buy 20+ acres and be further outside of town. small lots and anything close to town is always a lot higher.
