Well we started on the restaurant expansion, had the entire back yard graded and irrigation in, planted several 45 gallon trees, maybe 12-15 feet tall, about 330 today all hell breaks loose, we must have had 50-60 mph winds and torrential rainfall here in Southlake, all of the new trees are on the ground and some of them are in the neighbors yards, to top it off we had a freshly poured driveway that got hammered by the rain, not sure on total damage there, I swear !!

Sounds about as much fun as cooking ribeyes in the rain at Love Field.

Sorry to hear brother, hopefully the concrete is ok.

I heard it hit over there as well, this is the second storm we have had here in two weeks with 60 mph winds, we had several trees at the house that were damaged as well, hope them steaks turned out well, thumb

Good deal, take a look out back, maybe we will have it shored up by then but I doubt it, I have a construction meeting down there at 10 am, maybe I will run into you.

Tell me about it. We were building a pergola and outdoor kitchen in Colleyville when it hit. Had to scramble to get all the saws and tools put inside before the downpour.

Have your landscaper stake the trees with T-post when he puts them back. Keep them staked for a year. I know it's unsightly but they need to have time for roots to attach to new soil.

Tell them folks at Syracuse hello for me. Great people, and great sausage.

BTW - you work on walk in coolers? Do you also have a line on getting coolers?

I am sure they are going to stake them down, may have been a blessing that they were not staked, I think some of them would have snapped, there were several trees the bit the dust in the area. The wind was nuts, I have a 16 foot rod iron gate at my entrance, it has not been closed in 15 years, the wind closed it yesterday for me.
