Air bubbles and fish farts, I would turn down your sensitivity some.

Brush piles on the side of the drop, more on the bottom of the hump. Lots of fish, but it looks like your transducer is tilted up to me.

Bass mostly stack horizontally not vertically. The first one is definelty stumps with a few fish on it. The second is either white bass or crappie. The best way to find fish offshore is to use downimaging first

If they are suspended off the bottom, throw a spoon or a hair jig. A Carolina rig can be used too. Usually when they are suspended off the bottom they are harder to catch. The weather has to be right to really offshore fish. Windy/Cloudy days are the best. They'll suspend closer to the bottom and are easier to catch. That's when I wack them on a football jig or crankbait. If it's sunny and calm, you are going to have a hard time catching them. Usually the hair jig being ripped up off the bottom works really well. However, if they don't hit that or the spoon go back to a crankbait. Burn the crankbait until it gets close to the bottom and then stop it and count to 3 before you start reeling it again. Usually they will hit it as soon as you start reeling it again. I will say the amount of fish you catch offshore depends on the lake you fish.

Start by leveling your transducer, youll get a much better image clarity. Theres an easy way to level it using coins and a level, just YouTube it.

For the pics, most of the returns arent very hard meaning that either the fish arent big or they are on the edge of the cone range. Also when fishing drops, look for bait to be parked near the lip or on the lip of the drop. Youre likely to find more success by looking for that when learning to fish offshore and its likely to build your confidence.

Time on the water and learning your electronics are everything.

I dont ever fish for suspended bass, but if I did I would probably throw a weightless fluke and read a book. If someone could figure out how to catch suspended bass (largemouth) they would probably be one of the most dangerous anglers on the planet.

Hope that helps and good luck!

Appreciate the advice. I always assumed my transducer was "level" because its glued to the hull. I'll certainly be looking into this
