I have two buds headed down to Amestead and wanted to see if anyone has any helpful info on fishing tactics? Any help would be appreciated.

Abundant hydrilla, Lake is fairly steady at approx. 33 ft low. Good top water bite all over. Frog bite has been good.

Top water until it runs out of gas. Fairly slow after that. Plenty of dinks on senkos.

Wheres this Amestead you speak of? JK, but I bet if you find the grass out closer to deep water, you might find better quality. Ledges and long points with deep water adjacent are always good too on Amistad.
