Del Rio / Lake Amistad
Going up to San Angelo this weekend for a tourney and want to know if Twin Buttes still has enough water to be worth paying for the public use permit or don’t bother at this point.

It's my local lake and yes there's still water but dropping rapidly. The ramps are high and dry so you have to put in off the bank. I'm still able to launch my 22' bay boat off the beach but its getting to be a challenge. Also the deepest part of the lake is only about 14' so normal summer patterns don't apply here. Focus on the channel ledges and brush with a slower approach and you'll do fine.
