Mega SI, yes. DI, not sure that I'd pay for that. Non mega DI seems pretty good to me. IMO they should have designed it to use the SI transducer and they'd sell a lot more of them.

Exactly worthless, not needed we already have our mega side and down ducers mounted, why would we want built in, thats just more issues.

It may be a selling point for people who do not have the "down" imaging transducers. It's not going to be on every trolling motor.

This isnt about selling a million troll motors. This is about locking people into an eco system. If you have a built in bird transducer, you are less likely to switch to another brand when the time to upgrade your graph comes around.

They should have done this before they sold all these ultrex. Not many people will be willing to buy this. Tyler is right though, these will sell more birds. It's all about the package

So should I wait to buy my Ultrex or go ahead and buy one now?

Do people run Bird DI and SI on their trolling motors?

^^^^^^^^
I've been saying this for a year or two. Trolling motors for 4K will be flying off the shelf!

Would it not be universal like US2? With a different adapter for each brand?
