 Suspended bass?

Inconclusive or suspended bass? I was heading to deep water from the dam and these fish are suspended on the down slope. Not very catchable if they are but that’s really only where I noticed life yesterday.

That is exactly what they look like to me. Suspended bass.

Could've possibly tried vertical jigging with a spoon. I've caught them on Lake Belton like that but on my dads Hummingbird 1199 I can see my bait on the graph as I jig it up and down so I can tell when it was directly at the fish, and with his I-pilot mode his troller keeps you locked in place. Ideal setup for suspended fish or schools of whites or hybrids.

Mag fluke or M-Pack shad. On those, throw it out, count to 30 slowly. Bait falls about a foot per second. Slowly twitch back to you.
